CENTAUR (Greece)
In Greek mythology, the centaur is the mullet of mythological creatures: Human in the front (head, arms, & chest) and Horse (body & hind legs) in the back.
They can be fierce and wild, especially if they drink too much wine. But some, like Chiron, who was known as a healer and teacher, can be kind.
In LITERATURE, you’ll find Centaurs in popular fantasy fiction like The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling & the Percy Jackson series by Richard Riordan. More often in these works, centaurs are likely to be friendly protectors of humans.
