David SanAngelo is in the business of making fun things for kids of all ages.
He’s a Society of Illustrators award-winning illustrator, represented by Shannon Associates.
He’s illustrated for HarperCollins, Macmillan, Scholastic, Hasbro, Bloomsbury Publishing, Audible, Capstone Publishing, Little Bee Books, Highlights Magazine, and also Writers’ Loft Press.
David has a long history in the animation industry, working on numerous animated shows for Disney XD, NBC, CBS, ABC, Adult Swim, PBS, Cartoon Network, BET, Hulu, and others.
David was nominated for an Emmy for directing WordGirl (PBS) and Time Warp Trio (NBC, Discovery Kids, WGBH).
He was an associate producer and art director for Bento Box Atl, working on The Awesomes (Hulu) and various FOX pilots.
Working with FableVision, he directed episodes of Good Thinking for The Smithsonian — a series that helped teachers teach.
He also directed an Emmy-winning animated special for The Boston Red Sox about their mascot, Wally.
He wrote, animated, and provided voice work for Mercer Mayer’s Little Critter and Little Monster interactive stories.
David is currently doing the interior illustrations for R. L. Stine’s new book series, Stinetinglers published by Macmillan
