Lynda Mullaly Hunt is the author of New York Times bestseller Fish in a Tree and Bank Street Best Book One for the Murphys. Her most recent book, Shouting at the Rain, published on May 7, 2019.
She’s a former teacher, and holds writers retreats for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
When not traveling visiting kids in schools or speaking at conferences, Lynda is home with her husband, and writing on her beloved Cape. (She even has a Shark Conservatory license plate on her car in honor of one of her latest book characters — Ronan from Shouting at the Rain).
She’s a contributing author to Friends and Anemones – Ocean Poems for children (Writers’ Loft Press, 2020).
