Robin Brett Wechsler (pronounced WEXler) is fond of words, and figures you are too if you’re reading this.
A member of The Writers’ Loft, 12×12, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Robin writes poems and fiction and nonfiction picture books that she hopes are funny, fascinating, and foster empathy.
When she’s not writing, revising, reading, taking walks, baking, playing with her kids, or driving them around, she volunteers to promote sustainability and voting, writes for local publications, and freelance edits.
She does her best writing in her kitchen with a cup of tea and her cats nearby but thinks about writing almost anywhere.
In fourth grade, Robin became an author and illustrator of two books (about pet rabbits and a girl who gets holes in a new pair of sneakers) that children could check out from the school library.
