Shirley Fadden is a writer and illustrator for children, squiggling among the scented pine trees and sturdy oaks in Massachusetts.
She leads a writer/illustrator group at the Writer’s Loft in Hudson, MA, is a member of SCBWI and The Greater Boston Illustrator Group.
Much to the disapproval of others, Shirley enjoys the company of Cheeto, her Bearded Dragon. (Note to parents: Little Shirley was deprived a furry pet.)
When Shirley isn’t making picture books, she can be found inspecting nature through a magnifying glass. She likes to go on camping adventures with her family, garden, bike, and make lavender soap, but most of all she loves to combine words and images to tell a story.
