Greetings, Susan! Thanks for being our LEGEND of the WEEK!
If you could be any magical or legendary creature, who or what would you be and why is your answer a gnome?
Hmm, I think I’d be a mermaid. They seem independent, confident, a little mysterious, and very cool. I’d like to be cool like a mermaid.
Just saying, gnomes are all those things too, but we’re not scaly. It’s cool though.
Can you tell us a little about how you came to be a part of Gnomes & UnGnomes?
I’ve been a Loft member for a few years and finally decided to jump on board the Anthology wagon. The fact that it was about cryptids was a huge draw – mysterious, mythical creatures, oooooh.
I love griffins as much as the next person, but how did you choose them as your poem topic?
I chose to write a poem about the Griffin largely because my grandson’s name is Griffin! Both Griffins are pretty amazing!
What’s great in your life right now that you want to share, personal or professional? Some wins?
I just released a new book! The Honesty of Wings is about three siblings separated at birth who are summoned back to one another when an ancient evil threatens their world. It’s the first book in The Corvid Legacy series.
Three of my kids are reading The Honesty of Wings right now, and they LOVE it! Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
