DRYAD: Nymph or Nature Spirit
A dryad is a spirit that lives in the forest, like a wood nymph or fairy.
The Greeks believed every tree had a spirit, and dryads were said to live in trees. Their life would end when the tree died.

I saw one in the woods on my walk last week. I believe she was a Maple dryad with orange hair-leaves. Very beautiful! The dog didn’t see her at all lol.
